Your Privacy Choices
Northtrail Web Design LLC | Last Updated: July 30, 2026
This page explains how to opt out of the cookies, analytics, and advertising technologies used on our website, and how to request changes to the personal information we hold about you. For full details on what we collect and why, see our Privacy Policy.
1. Opt Out of Cookies in Your Browser
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking all cookies may affect how the website functions.
Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies
Safari: Settings → Privacy → Prevent cross-site tracking / Block all cookies
Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Enhanced Tracking Protection
Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
2. Opt Out of Google Analytics
Install Google's official opt-out browser add-on, which prevents Google Analytics from collecting data about your visits on any website:
Google Analytics Opt-Out Add-On: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
3. Opt Out of Personalized Advertising
Each advertising platform we use offers its own controls:
Google Ads: Manage or turn off ad personalization at https://myadcenter.google.com
Meta (Facebook/Instagram): Adjust your ad preferences at https://www.facebook.com/adpreferences
TikTok: In the TikTok app, go to Settings and Privacy → Ads → and adjust personalized ad settings
4. Industry-Wide Opt-Outs
These free tools let you opt out of interest-based advertising from many companies at once:
Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA): https://optout.aboutads.info
Network Advertising Initiative (NAI): https://optout.networkadvertising.org
Note: these opt-outs are typically cookie-based, so they apply per browser and per device, and clearing your cookies may reset them.
5. Request Access, Correction, or Deletion of Your Data
To request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit its use, or opt out of its sale or sharing, email us at:
matthew@northtrailwebdesign.com
Please include your name and the email address you used when contacting us so we can locate your information. We will respond within 45 days. See the Privacy Policy for full details on your rights, including how to appeal a decision.
A note on analytics and advertising data: data collected by Google Analytics and advertising pixels is pseudonymous — it is tied to a cookie or device identifier, not your name — so we are unable to locate or delete it on your behalf. The opt-out tools in Sections 1–4 above are the effective way to stop that collection going forward. Data you have submitted to us directly (such as through our contact form) can be deleted on request.
